CUSTOM COFFEE PACKAGING

Custom Kraft Coffee Bags

We make custom kraft coffee bags with brown or white paper laminates, your printed artwork and suitable valves or closures. Our team helps you choose the size and film layers for your coffee and packing process.

Show us the paper look you want, or send an existing bag. We can leave more of the kraft color visible or create a fuller printed design. Ask for samples to compare the surfaces before you choose.

Free design. Unlimited revisions. Free layered production files after approval.

CHOOSE THE LOOK, CONFIRM THE STRUCTURE

A Paper Look with Protective Film Layers

The word kraft can describe a paper component in a coffee bag, while the finished package can include additional materials for printing, protection and sealing. A brown appearance, a white paper component and a matte finish answer different questions about the bag you are choosing.

We have made bags using MATOPP/kraft paper/VMPET/PE and MATOPP/white kraft/VMPET/PE laminates. The paper provides the look, while the film layers support printing, coffee protection and heat sealing. We can explain the layers and thickness proposed for your order.

A natural brown appearance

If you want the paper color to remain visible, share the amount of coverage you prefer and examples of the look you have in mind. Check the proposed surface and printed details through a suitable physical sample, including the areas used for product information.

A white paper component

White kraft gives you a lighter base for the printed design. The white flat bottom bag below uses a paper-and-film laminate. Ask for a physical sample to compare its color, finish and feel.

A more fully printed design

Kraft bags can carry a fuller printed design, too. We digitally printed the black stand-up pouches below with colored coffee panels over a kraft-paper laminate. Show us your design idea and we will help you choose the material and printing.

FIT THE BAG TO YOUR COFFEE

Choose the format before finalizing the artwork.

We make flat bottom coffee bags, stand up pouches and side gusset bags. Your retail display, filling process and target net weight help narrow the choice. For a kraft version, confirm the proposed material and feature combination for the format you choose.

Three coffee bag formats to discuss for a kraft project
FormatA useful starting pointConfirm with your project
Flat bottom bagA defined base and separate branding panels. See our brown and white kraft flat bottom bags below. The base and panel dimensions, filling opening, net-weight trial, valve and any zipper arrangement.
Stand up pouchYou want a pouch with a bottom gusset and front/back areas for your coffee design. Our digital kraft project uses this format. The filled shape, usable space, opening and seal clearance, accessory positions and printed layout.
Side gusset bagYou want to discuss a side-fold format for your packing and display requirements. Request a structure review for a kraft version. The actual kraft construction available for the project, side folds, filling method, final seal and reclosure requirements.

Use net weight as the brief, then confirm the dimensions.

A target such as 12 oz, 1 lb or a metric fill is a starting point for sizing. Whole beans and ground coffee need their own filling review, and usable space depends on the shape, dimensions and features of the proposed bag.

Use a suitable sample with your coffee to check the fill, opening and final sealing space. A capacity from one existing project is a reference for that project, rather than a universal size for every coffee.

FREE DESIGN FOR YOUR KRAFT PROJECT

Start with your brand, even without finished artwork.

Share your logo, coffee details, design references and the paper appearance you want. We can help develop a layout around the selected format and material, so you do not need a finished production file before starting the conversation.

Free design

We help organize the front, back and any side or base panels around your brand and product information. Tell us what should stay consistent across your range and what changes between blends or origins.

Unlimited revisions

Review the proposed design with us and refine it until you approve it. We can work through the placement of text, artwork, label areas and agreed packaging features as the design develops.

Free layered production files

After design approval, we prepare the layered production files free of charge. The production layout uses the confirmed dimensions, panels, sealing areas and accessory positions for your bag.

Check how the artwork works with the surface.

Discuss your color requirements, the areas where you want the paper appearance to show, and any white-ink or opacity requirement relevant to the proposed printing process. Review small type, logos, barcodes and changing product information within the actual layout.

We offer digital and gravure printing for kraft laminates. The digitally printed 250 g pouches below show one coffee range we have made. Send your designs and quantities, and we will help you choose the printing method.

An on-screen proof helps check the layout. A suitable physical or custom printed sample is the reference for the visible effect you need to review before production approval.

CONFIGURE THE FINISHED BAG

Review the features with the material and filling process.

Your kraft bag needs a configuration that works from filling to the customer's first opening and later reclosure. Discuss the following details before the dimensions and production artwork are approved.

Degassing valve

Freshly roasted coffee releases gas. Discuss whether a degassing valve is needed for your coffee and packing timing, then confirm its compatibility, position and installation with the chosen bag. A valve is part of the configuration; it does not replace the final heat seal.

Zipper and reclosure

A zipper lets customers close the bag after use. We have made white kraft bags with side zippers and can help you choose a closure for your format, leaving enough access for filling and the initial heat seal.

Heat sealing

Share your filling and sealing equipment. Use appropriate sample trials to review the opening, seal area and equipment conditions. Temperature, pressure and dwell time should be agreed for the actual construction and process rather than copied from the word kraft.

Window and easy-open details

If you want a visible product area or an opening feature, explain where it should appear and why it matters to your design. Window construction, material protection, seal clearance and artwork need to be considered together. Availability is confirmed for the proposed bag.

MAKE THE NEXT DECISION WITH A SAMPLE

Check the appearance and the way the bag works.

Similar material samples are free. Tell us whether you want to review a paper appearance, printed finish, bag shape or feature so we can discuss a relevant sample.

Custom samples have a fee, refunded when you place the order. Confirm what the custom sample represents, its cost and timing. Sample shipping arrangements and costs are discussed for your destination.

REQUEST INFORMATION FOR YOUR INTENDED USE

Review the documents for the complete packaging.

Material information, supporting food-contact documentation and relevant factory or certification documents are available on request. Tell us your market, coffee and intended use, and identify any document or acceptance requirement you need to review.

Tell us the laminate and accessories you are considering. We can share the relevant food-contact information and explain which materials and uses the documents cover.

Keep recycling and composting statements specific.

The complete bag, including functional materials and accessories, needs appropriate evidence for the disposal claim you want to make. The route also depends on the collection or composting arrangements where the package will be used. Discuss that direction before environmental wording is placed on the artwork.

Request Packaging Documents

FROM AN IDEA TO AN AGREED ORDER

Bring the details together before production.

  1. Share your brief. Tell us about your coffee, target net weight, quantity, destination and the paper appearance you prefer. An existing bag or design reference can help start the discussion.

  2. Review the proposal. Discuss the format, complete structure, valve, zipper, printing approach and relevant samples or documents.

  3. Approve the layout and specification. Confirm dimensions, features, physical appearance and production artwork, with sample checks agreed for the project.

  4. Confirm the quotation and delivery. Agree the order requirements, costs, production schedule and delivery arrangement for your destination.

Plan production and shipping.

Production is typically 7–12 days. Shipping is typically 7–10 days, with door-to-door delivery and taxes included. The quotation confirms costs and timing for your destination; these are planning ranges rather than guaranteed arrival dates.

If your project has a planned launch date or several designs, include that information in the brief so the order arrangement can be discussed.

KRAFT COFFEE BAG QUESTIONS

Questions before choosing your kraft bags

What are kraft coffee bags made of?

Kraft paper can be one component of a coffee bag's construction. Existing projects on this page combine a kraft or white kraft component with other materials. Ask for the complete proposed structure, material specifications and accessory details rather than choosing from the paper appearance alone.

Can I choose brown or white kraft coffee bags?

Yes. We have made both brown and white kraft-paper bags. Show us the appearance you prefer, and we will help you select the laminate and printing. Ask for a sample to compare the surface before ordering.

Are kraft coffee bags recyclable?

We offer different kraft-paper laminates. Tell us if recycling is your priority, and we can explain the films and accessories available for your bag. Check the finished construction with the collection program in your market before adding recycling instructions.

Are kraft coffee bags compostable or biodegradable?

We can help you compare compostable kraft-paper options and conventional barrier laminates. Tell us whether you want industrial or home composting. We will explain the proposed materials and available documents before you approve disposal wording.

How long will coffee stay fresh in a kraft bag?

The word kraft does not determine an unopened storage period. Review the complete package, coffee, filling process, storage conditions and quality criteria. Share your intended storage target and any relevant test requirements so the material and validation needed for your project can be discussed.

Which bag formats can I discuss for a kraft project?

We make flat bottom bags, stand-up pouches and side gusset bags. The kraft examples above show flat bottom and stand-up formats. Tell us your preferred shape and features, and we will explain the kraft combinations available for your order.

Can you print my logo or a fuller design on kraft coffee bags?

Yes. We can print your logo or develop a fuller design with our free design service. The black pouches above show a digitally printed coffee range on kraft-paper laminate. We also offer gravure printing.

Do I need finished artwork before contacting you?

No. Start with your logo, product information and design references. We offer free design and unlimited revisions. After you approve the design, we prepare the layered production files free of charge for the confirmed bag dimensions and production requirements.

Do kraft coffee bags need a degassing valve?

Discuss the requirement with your coffee, packing timing and chosen construction. Freshly roasted coffee releases gas, and a suitable degassing valve can be part of the bag configuration. Confirm compatibility and placement; the valve does not replace the final sealing step.

Can a kraft coffee bag have a zipper?

Yes. We have made kraft bags with zippers, including the white flat bottom bag above with a side zipper. We can help you select and position the closure for customer access, filling and the first heat seal.

Can I add a window to a kraft coffee bag?

Tell us where you want the window and what you want it to show. The window construction, protection requirements, print layout and seal clearance need to be reviewed together. Availability depends on the proposed material and configuration, so confirm it before approving the design.

How do I choose the size and seal the bag?

Start with your coffee and target net weight, then check dimensions, usable space and seal clearance with a suitable sample. Share your filling and sealing equipment. Agree relevant equipment trials for the actual material rather than selecting a size or heat setting from the kraft description alone.

Can I get samples and supporting documents?

Similar material samples are free; custom sample fees are refunded when you place the order. Confirm sample scope, timing and shipping costs. Material, food-contact and relevant factory or certification documents are available on request for review against the proposed packaging and intended use.

What are the MOQ, price and lead time for custom kraft bags?

Quantity and price are quoted for the dimensions, full material structure, features, printing approach and number of designs. Share your requirements for a project quote. Production is typically 7–12 days and shipping 7–10 days, with door-to-door delivery and taxes included; costs and timing are confirmed in the quotation.
