CUSTOM COFFEE BAGS · DIGITAL PRINTING & FREE DESIGN

Digitally Printed Coffee Bags

We digitally print custom coffee bags for new brands, seasonal releases and established coffee ranges. Our team helps you choose the format and film, organize several designs and prepare the artwork for production.

From a new coffee line to a seasonal release, start with the details you have. Finished artwork is not required to begin.

Free design. Unlimited revisions. Free layered production files after design approval.

MATCH THE PRINT PROCESS TO THE PROJECT

When Is Digital Printing a Good Choice?

Digital printing uses artwork files rather than engraved gravure cylinders. It is often useful for several coffee designs, changing artwork or a smaller first order. We can compare it with gravure for your size, film and quantity.

Tell us how many bags you need for each design and the look you want. We will recommend a printing approach and quote the film, size, finish and accessories you choose.

PLAN THE COFFEE RANGE, THEN EACH DESIGN

Organize multiple coffee bag designs before quoting

Tell us how many distinct designs, or SKUs, you want and how many bags you need for each one. An order total does not show how that quantity is divided among blends, origins or seasonal releases.

Identify what stays the same

List the bag format, dimensions, material, finish and accessories that you want to share across the range. These details help us review whether the designs can be planned together. Different sizes or structures may need separate production arrangements.

Identify what changes

Show the differences in coffee names, artwork, colors, information panels and other printed details. Discuss whether you want a complete design for each coffee or a shared design with an area for information added during packing.

Keep the approved version clear

Give each design a clear name and confirm its final text, quantities and artwork version. If the coffee details or graphics change after approval, ask us to review the change before production or a repeat order.

START WITH AN IDEA, NOT A FINISHED FILE

Free design and layered files for your printed coffee bags

We offer free coffee packaging design and unlimited revisions. After you approve the design, we prepare layered production files at no extra charge for the agreed bag dimensions and printing requirements.

1. Share your brand and coffee range

Tell us about your brand, coffees and the look you have in mind. Start with a logo, existing brand information or reference ideas. You can contact us before every packaging detail is decided.

2. Develop the bag panels

We work through the layout for your chosen bag format. Review front, back and side panels as applicable, along with folds, seals, valve placement, openings and areas needed for information added during packing.

3. Review and approve the design

Check each coffee name, description, net fill, barcode or QR code and other required text. Identify important colors and any material or disposal wording that needs supporting information. Confirm the final version for each design.

4. Prepare the free production files

Once the design is approved, we prepare the layered files for the agreed size and print requirements. If a bag specification or approved design changes, ask us to review the files again before the order proceeds.

AGREE WHAT THE APPROVAL IS BASED ON

Review color, artwork and the finished appearance

Share the brand colors that matter to you and any physical print reference you want us to review. Screens and photographs can display colors differently from a printed bag. Agree how critical colors will be assessed on the selected material and finish.

Colors and white areas

Send your important brand colors and tell us if the design needs white printing, clear areas or a metallic background. We will help you choose a print approach for the film, then agree a physical color reference where needed.

Matte, gloss and decorative effects

Compare matte, gloss and other finishes with physical samples. If you want foil, metallic or selective effects, show us the look you want and we will explain the combinations available for your film and printing method.

Text, fine details and codes

Check readability on the printed and folded bag, including small text and details near seals, folds or accessories. For barcodes or QR codes, provide the approved content and intended use, and agree how the finished sample will be checked. A code that scans from a screen is not the same review as a code printed on the bag.

PRINTING AND COFFEE PROTECTION BELONG IN ONE BRIEF

Choose the printed bag around your coffee

Tell us whether you pack whole beans or ground coffee, your net fill, packing method, storage conditions and intended sales period. Review the complete material structure, seal and accessories alongside the artwork.

Flat bottom coffee bags

We digitally print flat bottom bags with separate front, back and side panels. We can position the artwork around the folds, valve and opening, and add a suitable reclosure.

Stand up coffee pouches

We digitally print stand-up pouches with front and back artwork panels. The 10 oz example below shows a matte pouch with a valve. We can adapt the size and accessories for your coffee.

Side gusset coffee bags

We digitally print side gusset bags, including the 500 g bag below. Our designers can carry artwork across the side panels while keeping key information clear of folds and seals.

For a kraft-paper appearance, review the full structure and print surface rather than treating the paper look as a complete material specification.

Digital printing does not replace the barrier, sealing or degassing requirements for your coffee. Choose dimensions through your own fill and sample review; the capacities in existing projects are references for those projects.

Interested in recyclable or compostable materials? Tell us where you sell your coffee. We can help you compare compatible films and accessories, and explain the disposal information for the proposed bag.

DIGITALLY PRINTED BAGS WE HAVE MADE

Digitally printed coffee bag projects

Here are digitally printed bags we have made in three formats. Compare their sizes, materials, artwork panels and closures to choose details for your own coffee range.

Flat bottom bags for 12 oz / 340 g beans

We made this 15 × 26 + 6 cm flat bottom bag for 12 oz beans using MATOPP/VMPET/PE film, a valve and a pull-tab zipper. The black and white artwork shows a coordinated design across the panels.

Stand up pouch for 10 oz specialty beans

We made this 16 × 24 + 4 cm stand-up pouch for 10 oz beans with matte MATOPP/VMPET/PE film and a valve. It shows how digital printing works on a broad front panel.

Side gusset bags for 500 g whole beans

We made this 10 × 34 + 6 cm bag for 500 g whole beans using 140 μm MATOPP/VMPET/PE film and a degassing valve. The digitally printed text and line artwork continue across the side gusset format.

REQUEST A SAMPLE THAT ANSWERS YOUR PROJECT QUESTIONS

Review samples and supporting information

Free samples of similar materials are available. Custom sample fees are refunded when you place an order. Tell us whether you want to review a bag format, material, print appearance or your own artwork, and ask us to confirm the sample scope and any shipping costs.

Match the sample to the review

A similar-material sample can help you discuss feel, format and general construction. It may use a different artwork or configuration. For a custom printed sample, agree the artwork, material, finish and bag details being reviewed. Confirm any differences between the sample and the proposed order.

Check the bag in use

Review print, text and panel placement alongside filling, final sealing, valve or reclosure operation and handling. Where a color, code or finish matters to your launch, agree the appropriate reference and check before approval.

Request the applicable documents

Relevant factory certifications and supporting food-contact documentation are available on request and can be shared privately for your review. Tell us your intended market, packaging use and the documents you need.

GIVE THE QUOTE A CLEAR PRODUCTION BRIEF

Plan quantities, costs and repeat orders

We quote your chosen bag size, film, finish, accessories and quantity. Send the total quantity and the number of bags for each design so we can prepare a useful comparison.

Bag and material requirements

Include the format, dimensions or target fill, material direction, finish and accessories. Tell us whether you have an existing sample or need help choosing the configuration.

Artwork and design requirements

Tell us how many designs you need, what changes between them and any important colors or effects. Design and layered production files are free. Your quote will list the applicable printing, sample and delivery costs.

Delivery and future changes

Share the delivery destination, planned date and any repeat-order needs. For a reorder, identify the previously approved design and bag specification, and point out changes in text, color, material or quantities before production is arranged.

Production in 7–12 days. Shipping in 7–10 days. Door-to-door shipping with taxes included is available.

Design approval and any sample preparation happen before production. Tell us your launch date and delivery destination so we can plan those stages with the production and shipping schedule.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU APPROVE THE PRINTED BAG

Digital coffee bag printing questions

1. What are digitally printed coffee bags?

We print the artwork from digital files, then convert the selected material into finished coffee bags. We offer this method for flat bottom bags, stand-up pouches and side gusset bags.

2. Is digital printing suitable for a new coffee brand or a seasonal release?

Digital printing is worth comparing for a first order, seasonal artwork or several coffee designs. Send your size, material and quantity per design. We will explain the available options and prepare a quote.

3. Can I order multiple coffee designs together?

Tell us the designs and quantity of each one, along with any shared or different bag specifications. We can review how the range should be arranged. Different sizes, materials or features may need separate production planning, so confirm the proposed arrangement and quotation.

4. Does digital printing need gravure cylinders, and are all preparation costs free?

Digital printing uses artwork files and needs no engraved gravure cylinders. Packaging design and layered production files are free. We will explain the applicable printing, physical sample and delivery costs in your quotation.

5. What is the minimum order or price per design?

Tell us the size, material, features and quantity you need for each design. We will confirm the minimum and price for that specification. You can ask for a quote before choosing every detail.

6. Do I need finished artwork before contacting you?

No. Start with your brand, coffee information and design ideas. We provide free coffee packaging design and unlimited revisions. After you approve the design, we prepare layered production files at no extra charge for the agreed dimensions and print requirements.

7. What should I prepare if I already have artwork?

Share the artwork and the intended bag specification with our team. Confirm the bag dimensions and template, final text, design versions, color references and areas affected by folds, seals or accessories. We can review the preparation needed for the selected printing route; do not assume one file setup applies to every bag.

8. Will the printed colors match my screen or photograph?

A screen or photograph is not a reliable physical color approval by itself. Share important brand colors and any physical reference, then agree how the selected material and finish will be reviewed. A screen artwork check, printed sample and finished-bag sample serve different purposes.

9. Can I request white printing, clear areas or metallic effects?

Describe the appearance you want and the proposed material. We can review the print approach, surface and finish with your artwork. Confirm feasibility and an appropriate sample for the actual combination before approval; every effect is not available through every printing route or structure.

10. How should barcodes, QR codes and small text be checked?

Provide the final content and intended use, and review the printed elements at their actual position on the folded bag. Agree the finished-sample check, including readability or scanning where required. A code that works on a screen does not establish its performance on every printed surface.

11. Can digital printing be used with a valve, zipper or different bag format?

Yes. We digitally print flat bottom bags, stand-up pouches and side gusset bags with suitable valves and closures. We will help you position the features around your artwork, filling opening and top seal.

12. Does digital printing make a bag recyclable, compostable or suitable for food contact?

We offer different material options for digitally printed bags. We will help you choose the film and accessories for your intended use, share relevant food-contact documents and explain the disposal information for recyclable or compostable options.

13. Can I review samples before ordering?

Yes. Free samples of similar materials are available, and custom sample fees are refunded when you place an order. Tell us what you need to check and confirm the sample's artwork, material, finish, configuration and any shipping costs. A similar-material sample may differ from your final custom bag.

14. What are the delivery times, and how do I arrange a repeat order?

Production is 7–12 days and shipping is 7–10 days. Door-to-door shipping with taxes included is available. Discuss the destination, artwork and sample plans for your project. For a repeat order, identify the approved files and specification and review any changes before production; design and sample preparation are separate from the stated production and shipping periods.
